PAMAR - Pan American Musical Art Research Inc. invites artists of all disciplines to participate in the 7th Annual Latin American Culture Week in New York.

PAMAR is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to the research, promotion and dissemination of the arts of the Americas. Founded in 1984 and based in New York City, Pamar produces educational programs and cultural events. Since 2006, Pamar presents the annual Latin American Culture Week with the aim of bringing to the general public the richness and diversity of the various Latin American cultures. This series of events, independently produced by the participants, presents established and emerging artists in disciplines such as music, dance, visual arts, literature, theater and film.

The Latin American Cultural Week (LACW) has the support of the Office of the Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer, the Department of Cultural Affairs of the City of New York, (DCA), Ydanis Rodriguez City Council, NYC and Company Foundation, Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance, the Lower Manhattan City Council (LMCCC), Upper Manhattan Empowerment Zone, and JP Morgan Chase and Company. Partner institutions include Brazilian Endowment for the Art, Empire State College, PINTA, Americas Society, Repertorio Español, Instituto Cervantes, The World Music Institute,Centro Civico Cultural Dominicano, People Theater Project, Americans Friends of the Ludwig Foundation of Cuba, WHIN, and the consulates of Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay, among others. Sponsors include NYC Arts, Diario La Prensa, Impacto Latin News, De Norte a Sur, La Voz Latina, and Buena Vision TV.

Promotion for LACW includes the distribution of 30,000 brochures, inclusion in the English/Spanish media, massive email campaigns, Internet sites, social networks and news agencies.
