How to Participate in the
Third Annual Latin American Cultural Week

The Third Annual Latin American Cultural Week will take place November 8-19th, 2008, and we hope to reach an even broader audience, working with more institutions and artists throughout the City. PAMAR's role as the producer of the LACW is to seek out and recruit appropriate and interested participating organizations, consult on programming as needed, hold planning meetings for participants to get to know each other, and introduce possible collaborations between participants.

If you are already planning an event, performance, or exhibition that speaks to the richness of Latin American culture and falls within these dates, you can automatically participate in Latin American Cultural Week. If you do not already have a performance, exhibit, or event planned, please consider planning or hosting one during the Third LACW. PAMAR would be happy to provide ideas for possible events, performances or exhibits.

As a Participant, you agree to:

Include the LACW logo and website information on all your materials for the participating event/exhibition
Create links between our sites, and distribute the LACW brochure to your respective mailing lists and patrons
Allow us the use of your logo on LACW promotional materials

PAMAR offers the following to its LACW participants:

To include your institution’s name and/or logo in all publicity and marketing initiatives, flyers, pamphlets, post cards, photographs and catalogues.
To include your institution’s name and website on PAMAR’s Latin American Cultural Week webpage
To be included at our annual LACW launch party
An exciting opportunity to reach an even broader cross-section of the New York community, while coming together with organizations and artists throughout the city to celebrate the cultures of the Americas.
